About me: Montebello High School is one of five comprehensive high schools in the Montebello Unified School District. Montebello High School is an urban school located in the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California. The High School is located in the City of Montebello which is approximately ten miles east of downtown Los Angeles and borders the cities of Pico Rivera, Monterey Park, Los Angeles, and Commerce. Montebello High School has an enrollment of approximately 2,700 students and a staff of 110 teachers. The ethnic make up of the students of Montebello High School is as follows: 94% Hispanic, 4.6% White, .03% American Indian, .73% Asian, .06% Pacific Islander, .22% Filipino, and .54% African American.
